Fundraising

Welcome to Clark School! We are thrilled that you and your family are a part of our community and we look forward to all that this school year will bring.

As you can see, there are many ways – big and small – to help our school. We encourage your participation to make our events successful and meaningful for our community. Please contact Amy Clark at 978-777-4699, ext. 05, or amy@clarkschool.com if you have any questions or would like more information about any of our events. We look forward to enjoying the school year with you!

Trivia Night & Silent Auction

This is our major fundraiser for the year and requires significant participation from our entire school community. Event Team Meetings are held monthly during the first part of the year, and all parents are encouraged to attend. Frequent e-mail updates are sent out to committee members and interested parents, so even if you are unable to attend a meeting you will still be made aware of our progress. There are many duties to complete to make our event successful, so please don’t hesitate to volunteer!

Box Tops for Education

We are continuing our Box Tops for Education drive sponsored by General Mills www.boxtops4education.com. Clip Box Tops from hundreds of your favorite General Mills products and deposit them into the boxes in every classroom. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents to our school. Recent promotions have included items with additional Box Tops or Bonus Box Tops where one Box Top equals 30 cents or more! You can use the Web site as a portal to online shopping, which allows the school to earn up to 8 percent of the qualifying purchase at no additional cost to you. There is also a Box Tops Visa card, which awards the school 1 percent of each purchase. Last year we raised over $260. This year’s goal is $500. Try making your own Box Tops collection container.

Campbell’s Labels for Education

We collect Campbell’s Labels for Education to earn points for things like sports equipment, classroom supplies, software and books. You can find the labels on Campbell’s soups, Pepperidge Farm cookies, crackers and bread, V-8 Juice lids and many more items. Check out the notice enclosed in this packet and visit www.labelsforeducation.com.

Shaw’s Receipts Program

Shaw’s Grocery Stores started a Receipt Rewards program in January 2007, whereby families turn in their Shaw’s grocery receipts to our school. We then submit the receipts to Shaw’s to get 1 percent of the eligible purchase amounts back as a donation. This is one of the easiest fundraisers we have – just collect receipts for the items you buy at Shaw’s and turn in your receipts to the office!

Upromise Schools Program

This is an exciting new fundraising program that can raise significant funds for our school while helping you save for your child’s college education. Through the Upromise Schools Program, you and other parents can earn bonuses for our school by dining out and shopping online, and then turn our everyday spending into funds for our school by allocating some of your cash rewards on your eligible everyday spending on groceries, gas, online shopping and more.

In addition, you can invite your family and friends to help raise funds for our school – and help you save for college, too! Whether you’re currently a Upromise member – or haven’t yet joined – you can participate in this exciting fundraising program. Simply go to www.upromise.com/schools to sign up today and learn more about this program. Existing Upromise members can link their Upromise account to our school account through the “My Account” section of the Upromise Web site.

Target “Take Charge of Education”

Sign up for a Target REDcard and Target will donate 1 percent of the purchases you make with our card to our school. If you already have a REDcard, please consider adding our school as a beneficiary. If you do not have a card and are interested in applying, visit www.target.com and search for Take Charge of Education. The application is quick and you get a one-day pass for 10 percent off all purchases when you apply.

General Donations

As always, we welcome donations of new and/or used furniture, supplies and equipment at any time during the school year. Please contact me for more information. As usual, all donations are tax-deductible and are very much appreciated.

The Clark School Annual Fund Drive

We offer this fund drive every school year, from September through December. The drive allows our current families, alumni, alumni parents and friends to contribute to the school’s General Fund prior to the end of the calendar year. These funds go toward all areas of the school, from office supplies, to maintenance to equipment. All donations are tax-deductible and are very appreciated by the school.
