Clark School classes never exceed 15 students. The student/teacher relationship is strong - teachers can tap into each of the students learning style and adjust their approach accordingly.

Clark School recognizes that organization is a learned function. We have incorporated into our curriculum proven tools and techniques that help students learn to manage their time and workload - assignment books, daily teacher blogs and Microsoft Outlook reminders are a few.
Is your child leaps and bounds beyond their current curriculum?
At Clark School we can place your child in areas where they soar and assist him/her in areas that come less easily. They can go at their own pace. No more boredom or busywork in school!
Is your child homeschooled?
Clark School does very well with helping homeschool students adjust to a classroom environment. We can meet their academic needs and provide a safe, nurturing social enviroment.
Does your child suffer from mild anxiety either academically or socially?
Simply driving up the long, winding driveway to the farmhouse amongst mature trees is a small comfort to a child who is anxious about school. Clark is fantastic at managing the way kids feel about their workload and teaches critical time-management skills by breaking down assigments into smaller steps, setting short-term goals and providing regular communcation between home and school. Our small environment allows us to deal with social disputes in a timely and effective manner.
Is your child on a professional path and does he/she need flexibility from a school?
Clark School can adjust your child's high school schedule to accomodate professional demands from acting, dancing, etc.
While Clark School is sympathetic to kids with behavioral issues, we are a behavior-free school. We have zero tolerance for physical or emotional acting-out.
